from the walking trail along Av. 3 de Noviembre.1/10/16 - We love all the activity that goes on in Cuenca and the fact we can see much of it from our apartment. There was a parade, for what reason I don't know, that went along 12 de Abril and just pulled up and stopped for about 30 minutes under the trees along the Rio Tomebamba. This is a view from our kitchen window.
1/20/16 - Our attorney, Sara Chaca, and her husband, Adam Altholtz of Find Health Ecuador, sponsor periodic activities for expats. This activity was bowling. We didn't even know there were bowling alleys here. It was a fun day to mingle, mix and meet fellow expats. Here I am. It has been a long time but was fun. Poor Mike couldn't find a ball with holes large enough so he wasn't able to bowl.

It appears bowling isn't big in Ecuador, or at least in Cuenca. I think this is the only bowling alley in the city.
