Otavalo, Ecuador, Saturday Market and around - 9/11/10

The Saturday Market in the Plaza de los Ponchos is a kaleidoscope of colors and movement. There are people everywhere buying and selling their goods. We enjoyed wandering around the market and taking it all in. We then walked around the are a little to see some of the other sights of Otavalo.

Susan buying her Panama hat. Did you know that Panama hats are made in Ecuador. They got their name because they were sold to the workers on the Panama Canal. Ecuador should have had better marketing!!
